Hire a Housekeeper, Please

Seattle real estate seller tip #1? First steps: Deep Cleaning: Hire a housekeeper to come in and really get down to the nitty gritty!

Most of us live with messes that we don’t even see and an outside professional eye will really help! Even if you think you keep a clean house, hiring a housekeeper can go a long way in making your house shine or stand out to a perspective buyer. A clean home is going to be favored over a not so clean home in most cases. For under $200, you can have a service come in and give your home a once over. The investment is sure to have a good return when you put your home up on the Seattle real estate market.

I have sold many Seattle homes and the ones that are the cleanest really do show better. It is easy to take this advice and decide to save a couple hundred dollars by cleaning your home yourself prior to putting it on the Seattle real estate market, but this does not always do the trick. When you live in a house everyday, it is difficult to see through that to the items that really need to be cleaned or touched up. I once had two friend switch places and do a little cleaning and that helped quite a bit, but I still strongly advise you as a Seattle real estate agent who has been out there, hire a professional to make your house shine.
