Beginning on June 24th, the status of Active- STI will be no more. Active-STI is the status used for when a house is sold subject to inspection. It is a status that is shown to the public on all of the NWMLS fed real estate websites. Beginning on June 24th, Active – STI becomes Pending Inspection. In addition to Pending Inspection, two new Pending statuses will also be added to the mix. Pending Feasibility when there is a feasibility study requested and also Pending BU Requested when the seller is looking for back up offers will also be added.
Now when Seattle buyers are searching for Seattle houses, all of the Pending statuses will not show up publicly. This is probably good anyway because many buyers were confuses by the STI status. Let me know if you have questions.
