With all the do it yourself business models out there, it is important to get a realistic view of some of the nuts and bolts that go into a typical transaction. This being said, I have yet to see a typical transaction and buying a house in Seattle or the Seattle suburbs is not something you want to do yourself! Of course I am biased, but I equate it with me drilling my own teeth for a filling. Here is a general outline of how a “normal” real estate transaction flows, but it is not all inclusive and hiring a REALTOR is vital for your financial health as well as your sanity. A lot of buyers and sellers don’t realize just how much goes into the transaction between finding a house and closing on a house in Seattle!
